I used to think I was haunted

I've had sleep paralysis for as long as I can remember and regularly. I never knew what it was growing up, so naturally as a child with an overactive imagination I thought it was ghosts.

Eventually adults dismissed it as "night terrors" and so I thought when other people mentioned having nightmares they were experiencing the same thing, but they never mentioned the suffocating or the sensation of being trapped or the creatures and so neither did I. In my 20's I came across a random article describing sleep paralysis and suddenly I understood.

I'm now in my late 30's and no amount of sleep pattern adjustment, stress management or meditation has dampened the episodes. This is a log of my experiences both present and past.

Each one will have a crude attempt at a drawing done on Krita with an old Wacom tablet.

I can't promise this will be good.
